Today's happiness -- Indulging my passion for filmThe highlight of my last day of The Fest for Beatle Fans was hearing director Michael Lindsay-Hogg compare and contrast his Let It Be with Peter Jackson's Get Back.
I love the Beatles. I love the art of film. I believe they're both important. Hearing MLH talk helped illustrate the role of the editor and director for me, and the stark difference in technology between 1970 and 2021.
I felt fortunate to hear him.
Each day in August you are to post about something that makes *you* happy. Pretty simple. And, it doesn't even have to be every day if you don't want it to be. It's a great way to remind ourselves that there are positive things going on in our lives, our communities, and the world.
