One of my favorite movies is a celebration of being airborne. I'm only sorry I couldn't find a good shot to represent "Let's Go Fly a Kite."

These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.
I've never seen this film, although the colors and cinematography look amazing! I shall have to check it out :)
ReplyDeleteI thought of Mary Poppins first too. What a great film. Kaye—the road goes ever ever on
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, Mary Poppins! :)
ReplyDeleteI thought of Mary Poppins, too!
ReplyDeleteIt's embarrassing to admit this, being that I'm 42 years old, but I've never watched Mary Poppins in its entirety.
ReplyDeleteI love it! I haven't seen this in a very long time. Great choice.
