You thought this was going to be about the Cubs, didn't you? Well, today I mean my medical team.
I am so happy to live where quality medical care is so readily available. I realize not everyone is as lucky as I am.
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

Good medical care is so important! I can see why that makes you happy!
ReplyDeleteGiven that I tried to call my doctor this morning, got disconnected, couldn't get the line back (kept getting some weird message), so I started to sob until the doctor's office finally called me back, I can attest that good medical care is difficult. And I love my doctor, but I didn't love this little episode.
