Ah-Choo!

My niece is having wisdom teeth removed today. My mother is still in the hospital. So I feel guilty for feeling as debilitated by this cold as I do.

I can't sleep but I'm weary to the bone. I can't breathe. I can't think. I have a damp tissue forever embedded in my hand. I just want to lay down.

I suffer from a sore throat, a cough and more than an occasional sneeze. But no fever. So I really should just buck up and recognize that this is really not that bad. (Even though it so feels like it.)

  1. Have you ever had Japanese Miso soup? It's my favorite cold soother--I swear, the seaweed in it adds all the right vitamins. I think it works better than my husband's chicken soup, and THAT's saying something! I've tried to make it on my own, but can never duplicate the stuff at the restaurant, so I just get a giant to-go container and make it last. Feel better!

  2. Hope you're soon feeling much better. All that stress really takes a toll on your immune system. Lots of chicken soup w/ garlic and hot lemon tea.
