This weekend's challenge: Retell your favorite book in 33 words.
With all due respect to the marvelous William Goldman:
S. Morgenstern writes of a humble farm boy who becomes a
famous, yet dread, pirate. But in reality, he’s a hero who lives for justice, camaraderie,
adventure, and his one true love, Buttercup.
I couldn't help myself! I had to comment immediately about one of my true favorites as well (both book and movie). The PB. Didn't want to give too much away if others were guessing.
ReplyDeleteI have only recently watched this movie, and hung my head for all the times that I missed it :)
ReplyDelete"I don't think that word means what you think it means!" - from the delectable PB movie
ReplyDeleteWell done!
ReplyDeleteOoooo yeah!!! MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE movie!!! Now I must read for certain! Well done!!
ReplyDeleteOoh. It's Pelican Brief, huh?
ReplyDeleteOkay. I'm only kidding. I can't even keep a straight face as I type that. Love that movie. It's been years since I've seen it. Perhaps time to view again. :)
Great work! Love this book.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a kind of Robin Hood.
ReplyDeleteThis was good!
ReplyDelete"Hallo!" Well done indeed!
ReplyDeleteHow sad I didn't know this was a book! I've always loved the movie!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book or seen the movie. It sounds interesting, though.
ReplyDeleteI just reread the book last year. It had been fifteen years. Too long. It's so much fun.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this book! No more rhymes now, I mean it! Anybody want a peanut?
ReplyDeleteYou have sent me down memory lane. Thanks for that.
Come on back Monday for the big 33rd challenge, it's going to be fun.
