Because I love movie lists

I am shamelessly stealing this from Kwizgiver. I went back to the American Film Institute and picked up the current Top 100 because I believe this list is a bit different than the one she worked from.

As I watch coverage of the impending government shut down, I find reflecting on classic movies therapeutic.

The ones I've seen are bolded ...

  2. I ended up watching all of the AFI top 100 movies as part of my first 101 Things in 1001 Days. It was an interesting experience, because it made me watch movies I wouldn't normally. You've seen a lot of them already!

  3. Say, what do you think of taking the updated Top 100 and watching 1 per week, and writing your thoughts on it, as a weekly meme? I think I'll set that up. Hope you'll join in

My husband and I watched all of the original Top 100 and had fun listing them all in the order we liked them best. Saw they cam out with a newer list, but don't think I have time for another project like that! Maybe when my son gets old enough to start watching movies :)
