FERRIS BUELER DIRECTOR HUGHES DIES
Writer and film director John Hughes, whose films in the 1980s depicted teen angst on the North Shore, died of a heart attack in New York today, his publicist said.Hughes, 59, directed Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, among other films.
