Children are going to be traumatized. Beloved pets confused, misplaced, and killed. Ordinary Ukrainians, driven by patriotism, will be slaughtered. Why are we looking at all this heartache and death? Because Vladimir Putin has a hankering for the glory days of the Soviet Union.
I'm just grateful that Joe Biden enjoys the respect of other NATO leaders. Perhaps if the world stands together against this outrage, it won't spread like a stain across the globe.

Remember Donald Trump's assessment of this carnage as "wonderful." "An act of genius." Do not stay home if his name ever darkens a ballot again. Vote, vote, vote! We can't let this Putin fanboy back in the Oval Office.
And consider making a contribution to Doctors Without Borders. Sometimes prayers are not enough.
That MASH sentiment made me tear up.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree and say a hearty AMEN to everything you have written in this post.
ReplyDeleteSometimes they really said some profound things on M*A*S*H. I hate to say it, but I don't think we can end things with Putin diplomatically. His moral compass is not the same as most people's. His line in the sand is not where ours is. Appealing to his morality and decency isn't going to work. Nor do I believe sanctions will stop him unless we really put some sting in them. And we have to remember China is watching to see how the world handles Putin before they make their move on Taiwan. We, who call on God, need to do so in earnest. Who ever imagined we'd see this in our lifetime?
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Sad to see this happening, but not surprised. He was just waiting to get his wins at the Olympics before lashing out with his plan. So many are blind to evil. Biblically, I a mot surprised. Russia and China will rise for a time. Still praying for peace.
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced that prayers are never enough. Love the MASH sentiment.
