Don't do this

I twisted my ankle while running for the bus last Saturday. It still hurts. So if you can avoid being a klutz like me, I recommend you do so.

I've read that sprains can take up to 6 weeks to heal completely. I guess I should count myself lucky that after just three days, the swelling has gone down, I can put weight on it and walk on it -- though going down stairs hurts like a son of a bitch.

  1. if i was any kind of good writer i would tell you about the time i went to Busch Stadium to take pictures of the U2 stage set up.
    yep i fell...took me months and months to recover. both feet & ankles damaged.
    right in downtown St Louis...embarrassing to say the least.

  3. I twisted my knee a 4 weeks ago still a little sore i fell on some black ice. But i am going on walks now so its healing nicely. We thought it was dislocated but it was just twisted thank goodness. Hope your ankle feels better soon for you. Have a good day.
