There's a snowstorm going on outside my window. The first bona fude snow storm of the season! And all I can think about is -- do I have enough Coke at home? I'd hate to run out and not be able to get to the store to restock.
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

It's gorgeous, isn't it albeit a little late in the season! I'm ready to chill inside and watch...then snowblow!
ReplyDeleteHope you make it safely through the storm!
ReplyDeleteYikes! If your local store is anything like our local stores, milk, bread and beer should be gone from the shelves by now. I can only hope there isn't a run on Coke.
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
