Some movies are masterpieces of action and effects. Hereafter is not one of them. It's a quiet story about faith and science and luck and love and the afterlife. Matt Damon, the woman who plays Marie (Cecile de France, an actress I've never seen before) and the McLaren brothers who play twins are all terrific.And I like Clint Eastwood so much more as a director than I ever did as an actor.
Think I would like it? I am planning to see it at some point.
