The theme/prompt for this week is Heads -- Proud.
I feel very accomplished because I replaced the grout between two rows of tiles in my shower. I have never done such a thing before! This was a task I would have, in the past, handed over to a handyman. But because I'm economizing, I did this myself.
This left me feeling self-sufficient and proud.

PS Thanks to Miss Skittles at HoT for naming my musings Blog of the Month!

ReplyDeleteNow that's something to be proud of! Cheers to you! =)
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
ReplyDeleteHmmm - the color of the grout in our shower is fading and I was wondering if I could just spread some more on top to brighten it up - more a cosmetic fix than a necessary evil at this point. Since Handy Andy is out of town I turn to you - domestic diva - to tell me yes or no.
ReplyDeleteNow that is definitely something to be PROUD of, I would mess that up for sure.
ReplyDeleteWay to go! Nothing like being self-sufficient is there. Congrats on your home repair success. ~ Calico Contemplations
ReplyDeleteWow! I can't even get my husband to do that and we sell ceramic in our store! That is a hard job to do. You should be proud. I use white out and paint over the yucky spots.
ReplyDeleteTell Bumbles that you can't put grout over grout. It won't adhere.
You did WHAT??!
ReplyDeleteI love your musings, but seriously Gal, grout? I'm impressed.
And slightly tired just thinking about it.
Bummer - thanks Karen.
