Last phone call: Kathleen. I'm doing a freelance job for her.

Will you be celebrating Fathers day? Nope. My dad, grandfather and godfather are all gone.
When did you first realize you were an adult? When I was setting up the kitchen of my first-ever apartment. This place was mine. All the decisions were mine. It was exhilarating and scary. I was 19.
Way to go Rizzo! Glad your Cubs won. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

That "all the decisions were mine" part is a very scary adult realization!
ReplyDeleteBack in the day we became adults much sooner than many young people today. Not sure why that is.
ReplyDeleteI was still 19 when Tim and I started setting up our first home. I don't remember being scared, but exhilarated? Oh yeah! The freedom to do things the way I wanted them done was indeed heady.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to comment and thank you for inquiring about my daughter. Yes, things are okay for now, at least. They were able to stop the contractions. They gave her a steroid shot and she had to go get another today to help the baby's lungs develop more...just in case.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I hate having to make all the decisions.
