So here I am, huddled over my MacBook, eating a Chicken of the Sea tuna cup with a plastic spoon as I watch highlights of The Wedding. Glamorous, huh?
I am very happy to see Diana's "Wills" happy. For me, today's a continuation of her story.
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.
I admit I got a little choked up a couple of times. Diana would have loved this day.
ReplyDeleteYou know, for months I've been scoffing at all the talk about the royal wedding...but today when I was at work I kind of felt nostalgic about it when I remembered that Will and I kind of grew up together...I mean, we're the same age and my mom told me that when I was a baby she used to love watching shows about Princess Diana and little William.
