Nightlights. Just because you have turned the volume off doesn't mean you aren't disturbing the rest of us when you check your texts and emails from your movie theater seat. The little light on your phone is like a freaking beacon. If you're that bored by the movie, why not just take a nap?
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

ReplyDeleteHA HA.... i agree!
ReplyDeleteGreat answer!
ReplyDeleteI have never experienced the cell phone/texting issue - it must have gotten worse since I last went to the movies a year or two ago. I despise cell phones/devices. They are the crack of this century I am afraid.
ReplyDeleteJust another reason why I (kinda) wish cell phones didn't exist. People have no manners.
