Well I, on the other hand, think it's funny.
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

ReplyDeleteYou know I'm with you on this one. The ones in my family? "I got mine and who cares if you get yours."
ReplyDeleteBless my dearly departed mother's heart who bashed what she called socialism while she was in a nursing home paid entirely for by medicaid and medicare. She just didn't get it.
/sigh/ (I'd post this on my blog but one of my best friends is a repub and they'd blow a gasket. We don't EVER EVER discuss politics and can remain friends that way!)
Hahaha! Wicked funny. I'd like to give that to my father-in-law - I spent 6 months biting my tongue while living in his house as a guest while our home was being renovated. Love him dearly - just not his politics ;0)
