These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

Proud of my country and VERY proud of my city
It was my distinct privilege to be in this integrated, peaceful, friendly and overwhelmingly positive crowd last night.
I was watching some of the Obama Rally last night - I'm pretty sure I saw you there - front row center - right!!!??? What a wonderful place to have been last night! Snowbird

ReplyDeleteObama's rally was completely amazing. How lucky for you to experience history in the making in person. I know he will be a wonderful president.
ReplyDeleteI just knew you would try to be there!! What an experience, talk about energy, too bad we couldn't bottle that up.
ReplyDeleteIt was an awesome day yesterday.
I am completely envious.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of you as I watched the crowd. What fabulous energy there must have been!
ReplyDeleteDon't we get details?
