To play along, just answer the following three questions ...
• What are you currently reading? Mary by Janis Cooke Newman. I just picked it up this morning, so I don't have anything to say first hand. But here's what B&N says: "An engrossing novel about Mary Todd Lincoln — one of history’s most misunderstood and enigmatic women. Writing from Bellevue asylum — where the shrieks of the other inmates keep her awake at night — a famous widow can finally share the story of her life in her own words."

Mary sounds really interesting--on to the ever-growing TBR list it goes!
ReplyDeleteIf you like historical fiction for that time period, you may like "Henry and Clara" by Thomas Mallon--it's a novel about the couple that accompanied the Lincoln's to Ford's Theater.
