DAY 12 -- August 08 Happiness Challenge

Technology. I love air conditioning … microwaves … iPods … MacBooks … Roomba … voicemail ... the Internet … and, most of all cable!

Between Mad Men and I Love Lucy, I have gotten an extended view of life in the 1950s and early 1960s and don't think I'd do well back then. It occurred to me this evening, as I slipped a frozen pizza into the microwave, that my gadgets make my work easier and my life happier and I am taking a moment to appreciate them.

Post the picture the captures your eye the most and three songs that relate back to it.

This was fun, and easier than I thought it would be. I did a search for the word, "Pop." The image above was the one that captured my fancy, and here are the songs to accompany it.
