I love watching Hugh Grant's romantic comedies. Onscreen* he's funny, sweet, appealingly diffident and appears to be a very good kisser.
That is all.
* Except for the cad he plays in the Bridget Jones movies. That role is the exception that proves the rule.
These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.
Notting Hill is my favorite...
ReplyDeleteOh please tell me there's a Hugh Grant marathon on tv today!
ReplyDeleteLoved Notting Hill. Watched it (for the first time) with someone special.
ReplyDeleteI watched Love Actually again the other day.
ReplyDeleteLove Actually is a Christmas tradition
ReplyDeleteYeah, but you gotta admit that Daniel Cleaver and his incoming emails to BJ were hilarious! And the granny panties! (I so love that movie.)
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the characters he plays.
