These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

My backsliding baby
Charlotte is back under the bed again today. I must remember what the vet said -- this is not unheard of. And it's possible that hovering over her might make her feel more nervous, not less.
Sigh.
I wish she spoke English, or that I was more fluent in feline, so I could better help her get over this.
Hope Charlotte's feeling better soon. In the meantime, I hope you're able to keep putting her cat weirdness in perspective. It's hard, but you're doing a good job.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor Charlotte! I hope she comes around soon!
ReplyDelete:0( so hard to keep waiting for the old Charlotte to return.
ReplyDeleteGive it time. Between the fire alarm, the trip to the vets and probably some other minor things...her stress level is probably sky high. Just give her some space and she'll be okay.
