Yale ripped these two lovely old people off! They sent their eldest son to that school and, even after receiving what's reputed to be a "first-rate" Ivy League education, he graduated without being able to tell these words apart …Appease: To yield or concede to the belligerent demands of (a nation, group, person, etc.) in a conciliatory effort, sometimes at the expense of justice or other principles.
Negotiate: To deal or bargain with another or others, as in the preparation of a treaty or contract or in preliminaries to a business deal.
I hope they didn't pay for dance lessons either.
ReplyDeleteHe is the reason I can't get excited about a presidential election...if he could make it to the oval office, who's to say that another buffoon will have the chance to make our country look bad.
