These are the thoughts and observations of me — a woman of a certain age. (Oh, my, God, I'm 65!) I'm single. I'm successful enough (independent, self supporting). I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I'm an aunt and a friend. I feel that voices like mine are rather underrepresented online or in print. So here I am. If my musings resonate with you, please visit my blog again sometime.

I'm having salad for dinner
I hate salad.
But, as I work toward being the best damn gal I can be by year-end, these are the changes I have vowed to make:
More fruits and vegetables
Less Coca Cola
More exercise
I enjoy exercise, and now that my knee is better I look forward to doing more of it.
But God, I hate salad!
there are alot of great salad recipes out their. Not alot of them are that skinny making, but they are tasty
ReplyDeleteIt's the chewing of all those textures, Salad is not my favorite thing to eat. I really like it when someone else makes it.
ReplyDeleteDid you hear the thud? That was me falling off the diet wagon this past weekend. Time to get back to the so-called good stuff!
Very pretty picture. And no, you are not anally constricted, I would have made the same response about the designated driver.
