I use the term "close" because you don't want to let them down, ignore them, or minimize contact. <br />Patients with his new disability tend to fixate. And "Conspiracy Theories" will now have taken on the added attraction of being nebulous (like his mind is right now) concocted as they are by nebulous thinking.
