My Dad picked Chicago in the 1935 World Series after learning the game at 10. I was 7 and I just thought "That's how it's done". It was 1958 and I got to goose between Yanks v. Milwaukee Braves. I knew nothing their history. My dad said at the time: "Wow. That's the team I hate. I said, "Well I can pick the Braves." My dad said that the Yankees play closer and I'd see them more. Wise man. My brother did the "like his dad thing". My brother ($$$) has season 6ickets at both Wrigley & Fenway. He said he hoped the game went past midnight EDT so it fell on my birthday. "Dad would have loved that in this time zone it ended at 12:45 AM. I don't know if I've shared this before. But I am now 65 and I don't remember those things. ;) Bud Weiser, WTIThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02333989186132063905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27448101.post-31543433939239600142016-11-03T23:20:20.428-05:002016-11-03T23:20:20.428-05:00woohoo! heard about the win and instantly thought...woohoo! heard about the win and instantly thought of you. congratulations!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27448101.post-37517188642654316422016-11-03T19:39:33.349-05:002016-11-03T19:39:33.349-05:00Congratulations!
