It's that my boss (also older than I am) is also frightened and not sharing information because knowledge is power. It's disheartening to me because the only thing not considered in this equation is our client. I know my Mom is struggling in her job-she's been a nurse for 30+ years. She used to love her job and she took a lot of pride in it but the profession has changed so much in such a short period of time and she absolutely hates it.
