Sunday Stealing

Survey Asks ...

1. What was the last gift you received? My friend Mindy gave me this book. It's the perfect purse book. It fits in my bag and the chapters are very short and self-contained, perfect for a train ride or my break at work.

More about it here

2. Who did you last hang out with? My nephew and his girlfriend. We had pizza and they showed me their new apartment.

3. Do you often lose the remote? Only constantly.

4. When did you last check Facebook? Just now.

5. Are there scented candles in the room you're in? No. I don't trust my cats around candles.

6. Next time you leave the house, where will you be going? To the pharmacy for my flu and covid shots. (You're jealous, aren't you?)

7. Do you know anyone named Steven or Stephen or Steve or Stevie? Yes. He goes alternately by Stephen and Steve.

8. Which do you prefer: macaroni salad or potato salad? Potato salad.

9. Do you have an ice maker in your refrigerator door? No. I expect I'll be buying a new refrigerator soon, and that one won't have an ice maker, either. It's not that hard to use an ice tray. I mean, I'm not very handy and I'm not much of a cook, but I can make ice.

10. When you woke up this morning, did you get up straightaway or lounge a bit? I lounge. So much lounging.

  1. We got our flu and covid shots a few weeks ago. I loved your comment about making ice! We haven't had an ice tray in a long time.

  2. Yeah, my cat will eat almost anything, esp cough drop wrappers. I already got my COVID and flu shots! Sorry about your Cubs and my Yankees; I'm rooting against the Dodgers.

  3. I got my flu shot and it made me a little sick. I ran a fever and everything. My doctor told me not to get the two together, so Covid will be next. We have ice trays and an ice maker, but I use neither. My husband does, though.

  4. I enjoyed reading your answers. My husband and I got our flu shots on Friday. We both decided to be finished with Covid shots for so many reasons. That book looks interesting. We have an ice maker in our current fridge, but we did not at the fridge in our old house. I tend to drink more water when I can have ice water. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!

  5. Since my sisters have been visiting from out-of-state for the past two weekends I have missed my luxurious lounging. We've been on a tear the whole time they've been here (plus, I had school all day) and some rather late nights. I'm worn out. But happy. All this to say I envy your #10.
